CRUZ CAMPOS, Juan Martín; ALVAREZ SUAREZ, Juan Manuel; SORIA FREGOSO, Manuel de Jesús  y  CANDELARIA MARTINEZ, Bernardino. Production of organic substrates for ornamental at lower cost than imported. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2016, vol.25, n.1, pp.44-49. ISSN 2071-0054.

The present research was conducted in the agro processing of Instituto Tecnológico de Tizimín, in order to produce organic substrates from local materials that are less expensive than imported and know their nutritional contribution of humus compost and vermicompost. 10 types of compost-five beds using the Californian red worm (Eisenia foetida), the experimental design was completely randomized with three replications, with an area of 1 x 5 feet each treatment (compost and vermicompost) were performed. To prepare compost technique PRAXIS was used, agronomic variables studied were temperature, pH, and yield in the vermi compost pH, yield, production of worms, based on the results obtained from the best physical and chemical analysis turned out to be the S8 compost (25% papaya residues + 25% conejaza + 25% trunks and branches + 25% earth) it was obtained higher content of N, P, K with 0,90, 0,28 and 0.56% respectively and S12 Vermicompost (50% bovinaza + 50% conejaza) it was obtained greater N, P, K with 0,22, 0,72 and 1,03% respectively.

Palabras clave : compost; vermicompost; Eisenia foetida.
