Today, education has been influenced by the use of Internet and Web 2.0 tools which have modified the teaching and learning approaches. In this sense, this research is aimed to develop a new proposal about a PLE to support the learning process in IO courses in the Agricultural Engineering career at UNAH. The proposal is based on the use of different learning strategies focused on individual and collective learning. It also includes a prototype for the IO to the context of the university and a collection of best practices for its application.
