Abstract

As part of the studies carried out by the Technical Sciences Faculty, the Agricultural Mechanization Center (CEMA) of the Havana Agricultural University (UNAH) and the Animal Science Institute (ICA), on the agricultural groups evaluation for the production of animal food, with the objective the energy cost to determine of the forage chopper machine MF IIMA model EM - 01 modified of national production, with electric working, an researching was developed. It is determined that the totals energy costs depend in bigger measure of the kidnapped energy in electricity (ESe) with a value of 17, 23 MJ/h, for the percentage biggest of 64% and the kidnapped energy in materials, production and transport (ESm) presented the small dependence with a value of 2,25 MJ/h for a percentage of 8,35%; the costs energy totals schedules (EST) of the forage chopper MF IIMA model EM-01 modified ascends at 26,93 MJ/h and the total energy costs for unit of processed mass (ESt) at 84,15 MJ/t
