The current research is aimed to propose an information tool for costs management of preventive medical examinations which are carried out in the Instituto Nacional de Salud de los Trabajadores (Workers´ Health National Institute) (INSAT), which belongs to the Ministry of Public Health. For this reason, a study of the financial methodologies and the information tools used in the decision-making in this institution, was carried out. As a final result the design of the tool was made, having into account the conditions detected in the diagnosis and recommendations were made for their application. Obtained results allow contributing to the improvement of information obtaining and analysis in the institute.
