Abstract

INTRIAGO CEDENO, Mercedes Elina; BRAVO ROSILLO, Nancy Gissela  and  BRAVO ROSILLO, Diana Carolina. A Preliminary Approach to the Management of Financial Resources of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Agricultural Sector. Cofin [online]. 2021, vol.15, n.1, e04.  Epub Jan 01, 2021. ISSN 2073-6061.

Small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises (SMEs) are generators of sources of employment that contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area where they are registered. The objective of this research is to identify the SMEs that have managed their financial resources and have remained in the market in European and Latin American countries. The results allow us to distinguish that the companies in the selected European countries have the support of several entities for their development and the conditions to obtain financing. SMEs in Latin American countries have public policies to strengthen them, however, the informality in which they are born and other factors limit their ability to meet the requirements requested by financial and non-financial institutions.

Keywords : companies; financing; public policy and regulation..
