RODRIGUEZ GONZALEZ, Francisco et al. Procedure for the design of the structure as a strategic support. Case study: Grupo Caudal, S.A. Cofin [online]. 2025, vol.19, n.1 Epub 01-Ene-2025. ISSN 2073-6061.
In current administration sciences, the conception that the organizational structure constitutes support for the organizational strategy predominates. However, although this is an idea that prevails in theory, it is not always taken into account in the practice of organizational management. The objective of this work is to show the procedure used in the framework of the Collaborative Integral Consulting process developed in Grupo Caudal S.A. to design its organizational structure. This corroborates the criterion that the strategy is present in all the steps of the structural design and that, at the same time, the structure constitutes its support. The instrument used to design the organizational structure of Grupo Caudal, S.A. it integrates harmoniously with the methodology used by a group of professors-consultants and researchers from the Center for the Study of Management Techniques (CETED) of the University of Havana for the elaboration of the strategic projection of the organizations. This methodological approach guaranteed that the strategic projection prepared previously became the starting platform for the process followed for the design of the Group's organizational structure and that, in turn, its latter fully responds to the organizational strategy, as an effective management instrument and strategic control of the company.
