PALMA BENAVIDES, Joaquín Enrique y PIZARRO ANCHUNDIA, Shirley Elizabeth. Inventory management and its impact on IMPORFRIOYSERVI S.A.'s sales levels. Cofin [online]. 2025, vol.19, n.1 Epub 01-Ene-2025. ISSN 2073-6061.
Inventory management is crucial in sales as it ensures product availability, optimizes stock levels, avoids loss of obsolescence and improves customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. The aim of the investigation was to analyse the impact of inventory management on the sales levels of Imporfrioyservi S.A. in 2022. Methodological design includes a quantitative approach, with a descriptive study type and field design. A non-probability sampling was applied to give a sample of 48 subjects working in the company. Two questionnaires containing 16 closed questions supported on the Likert-type scale with five alternatives were implemented. The reliability of the instruments was determined by the Cronbach Alpha coefficient. The correlation of the variables was obtained through Spearman's Rho. With a Rho of 0,810, which suggested a direct relationship between the two variables. It is concluded that balanced distribution among inventory management levels improves planning, organization and control. The company must prioritize these aspects in order to optimize its inventory processes. Inventory management and sales are positively correlated, underlining the direct influence of inventory management on sales, highlighting the need for efficient inventory management for the success of IMPORFRIOYSSERVI S.A.
