The management of finances within non-governmental organizations (NGOs), obeys the interest of measuring the benefit achieved on the target population of aid; Under this observation, the performance cannot be evaluated in the same conditions that would occur for a company, due to this, the present study sought to analyze the management of the credit portfolio and social benefit in the microfinance portfolio of the NGO ADRA Peru, through an investigation of descriptive methodology and non-experimental design, for which the perception of management was assessed through a questionnaire and the social scope through a periodic comparison of the credits granted through a documentary review. The results show that management is 70 % regular and that the social scope of credit granting was decreased in its projection due to the covid-19 pandemic; however, the NGO denotes an adequate use of its resources of 95 % over the scope of its social assistance.
