This work represents a contribution to better the content orientation activity or orientation lecture, as an organizational teaching form that is used in the medical education at present, important elements are given, they propitiate the searching and construction of knowledge, on the part of the students, according to contemporary pedagogical tendencies such as, the content invariants, the independent work orientation, the didactic guidelines and the teaching tasks. The orientation lectures represent an alternative solution to a current problem of the higher education in general and particularly of the medical education.
