In the juvenile stage there is a high incidence of sexually transmitted infections, especially due to the acquired Immunodeficiency Virus, which supports the relevance of extension activities. The objective of this review article was to present ideas to work on projects and programs to promote sexual health in universities, based on a model of expression of full enjoyment and personal growth, which in turn affects the prevention of the infections through the stability in the couple relationships established by the young people.
