CASTANEDA RODRIGUEZ, Taimi; LOPEZ DOMINGUEZ, Abelardo; COLLAZO FRIAS, Victoria del Carmen y MOIRON VALLAR, Olga Margarita. Instrumental reliability to measure the application of statistical techniques in physical culture: Cronbach's Alpha. trf [online]. 2024, vol.20, n.1, pp. 128-144. Epub 01-Ene-2024. ISSN 2077-2955.
Objective:
The reliability of statistical techniques is a key element in the education of sports specialists. This paper aims at verifying the questionnaires and tools reliability of statistical techniques used in measuring the quality of professional education.
Methods:
The authors rely on analytical-synthetic methods to understand the information studied and correlating variables, dimensions and indicators in each instrument. Mathematical statistics and descriptive statistics were used to find the mean and variance, in addition the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated, all to compare the results between the items of each instrument and verify the reliability of the questionnaires before being applied. Among the main results are those obtained with the calculation of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, which determine, based on the criteria of the experts, the high reliability of the questionnaires evaluated.
Results:
The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient proved to be an indicator of high reliability of questionnaires used in sports specialists’ education assessment
Conclusion:
The use of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient gives reliability to questionnaires and tools given to sports specialists trainees in evaluating the corresponding process of professional education.
