The political changes taking place in Ecuador are also marked changes in the economic sphere and have placed new demands review and consideration of knowledge that can form the professional decisions of foreign trade. The analysis of these prerogatives the basis for curriculum renewal that promotes higher education in the country, which are specified in this moment decisions to achieve curricular proposals articulate the demands of change in the production model of the country. Participation in this process, and the interest in providing activities from academic training, allow to present ideas that have been formed from the discussion with students, faculty, alumni, administrators and the study of the formation of different profiles universities Ecuadorian. For this purpose the dimensions that guide the process and policy documents of this activity in the context of the current academic system are presented.
