The work "Social problems of science, a necessary content in Higher Education for Agricultural Sciences in Cuba", aims to analyze the role in the process of formation Agronomist education in Science Technology and Society, by be this race of high significance in the food assurance company, also responsible for the deterioration of natural resources, affecting the sustainability of development. To achieve this objective it was used as a method of document analysis, survey and cross-impact matrix which provided the information required to assess the need for CTS training professionals Agricultural Sciences, being linked in many cases with procedures that for different reasons are bad agricultural practices and the lack of an integrated and adequate interpretation of the implications that this generates, risking the deterioration of natural resources and the quality of life of human beings.
