Abstract

Mangroves as a buffer barrier climatic changes affecting the coastline, face a considerable deterioration, many areas have been devastated for the construction of shrimp with economist’s short-term purposes, with the consequent abandonment of the pools once exploited. Marked pollution makes it impossible natural ecosystem restoration. Ecuador is located on the first seats of export shrimp to the United States, European Union and Japan mainly to very high costs for rural coastal communities without millionaires’ shrimpers income have contributed to its development, in an of the three most dramatic situations of damages to nature, the case of shrimp farms counted in Honduras and Ecuador. This study aimed to propose a methodology for the restoration of such areas, as well as a call to entrepreneurs involved in shrimp production, sensitized to the problems, complying with existing laws and regulations of the ISO family, they are about the environmental impact study and conduct environmental audits, in addition to improving their environmental Management Systems. To do this, theoretical and empirical method of documentary analysis as a diagnostic and monitoring, as well as logistical offered in the methodology applied.
