Abstract

The investigation related to support from the career of Tourism Metropolitan University, place Machala, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, the community of Costa Rica Island archipelago Jambelí of the province of "El Oro", seeking to offer alternative organic agriculture, which also contribute to tourism purposes and ensure food security of the island, repaying their ecotourism potential, as a supplement to their food sustenance, which currently constitutes the oyster activity fundamentally. Visiting researchers and specialists to the island, they found that there is potential for such purposes, with possibilities of improving their community agriculture with the creation of an organopónic where plant species that can be collected from fresh, occurring offering a basket to tourist. Can be planted other species of fruit rapidly growing and fruiting. In this paper alternative organic agriculture, which will help the community to undertake its purpose, as well as serving useful to other communities with similar characteristics are offered. Historical methods of literature review and empirical observation method basically were used.
