Abstract

MEDINA PENA, Rolando; MACHADO LOPEZ, Libertad  and  VIVANCO VARGAS, Germania. NATURE, ENVIRONMENT AND DRY FOREST ECOSYSTEMS FROM PUBLIC LAW. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2016, vol.8, n.3, pp.108-115. ISSN 2218-3620.

The benefits of environmental services provided by forests from political- social - economic recognition are based on the establishment of principles of payment for ecosystem services. These are aimed at socioeconomic political recognition of their payment, which are not dependent on an act of generosity (act of voluntary payment) for nature, but a right of it. That is why this research aims to analytically tune with the problem of ecosystems in the Republic of Ecuador from the fundamentals which support the public law that serve as theoretical sustain to the understanding of the issues around nature as a subject of law and ecosystems.

Keywords : Environmental services; public law; environment; payment for ecosystem services; environmental law.
