Tourism development has become since the last century in one of the alternatives that opens opportunities to boost the growing and improvement of the communities´ quality of life, among other reasons because it creates sources of employment and various economical, social and cultural benefits. The creation of tourist routes constitutes one of the main ways which are currently used to expand this activity to the most remote areas of a region.  However to achieve the final results are effective in a tourist route is only possible, with the involvement and coordination of all local factors with their resources and productions which guarantee the benefit for the tourists, the community and the rest of the stakeholders. In the province of El Oro the issue of the tourist routes has not been sufficiently exploited, in spite of this it is of prime interest for the Ministry of Tourism to boost its development as the center of the communities where they are located different tourist attractions from the ecologic, cultural, artistic and sports where community stakeholders participate. The research analyses the Banagua Agritourist and Nature Route located in the province El Oro. For its development different theoretical methods were used as documentary analysis and synthesis, historical logic was used; in terms of empirical observation and interview.
