This research, developed at Defense Zone of La Sierrita in Cumanayagua, is aimed at strengthening  organizational communication with the purpose increasing knowledge of their internal public about sustainable development. Knowledge about communication and sustainable development in the Defense Zone allows new perspectives of study and research. The study shows that the presented communication strategy is necessary so that from communication, knowledge about sustainable development in the Defense Zone of is increased to accomplish missions in war time. The research shows the need of providing the Defense Zone with a communication strategy. This confers a great methodological a practical value to improve organizational communication and achieve an optimal achievement of their functions and increase knowledge about sustainable development.
