Abstract

The presence of an international scenario characterized by unipolarism, wars and neoliberal globalization, demand peaceful solutions from International Law for disputes arrangement among states in such a way that stability and peace are preserved. In this context, Law professional formation is an imperative for Cuban Universities. The present article aims at explaining the relationship between Public International Law and National Security, subjects of the law career curriculum, keeping in mind peaceful procedures to solve international differences and the importance of both for peace preservation. In this way, first and fourth year students respectively who receive these subjects, will be able to deepen in the topic with this new model of study and to reach greater legal conscience of the importance of applying the content received in these subjects. For that, special attention is provided to Cuba National Security as part of International Security and the results obtained were that respecting international regulations and putting into practice peaceful procedures guarantee National Security and reduce the danger of military aggression.
