LATA-TENESACA, Luis; VILLASENOR-ORTIZ, Diego  y  CHABLA-CARRILLO, Julio. FRACTIONING OF NUTRIENTS ABSORTION IN FOUR PHENOLOGICAL STAGES OF BEAN CROP. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.1, pp.20-27. ISSN 2218-3620.

The aim of this research was to evaluate the nutrients uptake of N, P, K, Ca, and Mg in four phenological stages of the bean crop, variety “seda”. A number of 150 plants were planted, handled in good agronomical conditions. Four samplings were conducted in each phenological stages, previeously determined. Then, 30 samples were collected in each sampling process for the dry matter (DM) determination for each plant organs through destructive sampling. Then the concentration of nutrients by atomic absorption spectrophotometry was determined. Finally nutrient extraction with MS and the concentration of elements in each tested tissues was calculated. For a yield of 2.91 Mg ha-1, with a dry weight of 1938.6 kg ha-1 grain, fractionation of nutrients presented a total of 221 kg maximum extraction ha-1 N, 24 kg ha-1 P, 186 kg ha-1 K, 163 kg ha-1 Ca and 29 kg Mg ha-1. The results indicate that nutrient removal by the crop follows the following order N> K> Ca> Mg> P, still leaves that has the highest concentration of nutrients, followed by dry grain.

Palabras clave : Absorption of nutrients; phenological stages; dry matter.
