The management of agrochemical wastes at the Herederos Coronel banana production company is a serious problem due to insufficient collection and inadequate final disposal of agrochemical waste which causes contamination to soil, water and air, and which could cause risks to human health. The present work shows the current situation in the company in order to implement a proper waste management. In the research process a situational diagnosis of the sector was carried out through surveys and interviews with the personnel working on the farm to establish the reality of the sector and the management of wastes generated. From the results obtained new strategies were implemented, which will contribute to a healthy and clean environment, according to law requirements.
