University students live in a stage caracterizad by intense learning proceses, searching for their own identity and unprecedented cognitive, emotional and social changes. In this period, health promotion and education find great challenges and enormous possibilities because attitudes, values and behaviors are forged, and the foundations of lifestyles are built. From the joint action of teachers and parents, it is up to young people and adolescents at this stage to have access and opportunities to transform health information that is imparted into healthy knowledge, attitudes and practices, as well as to develop healthy lifestyles in The present moment and to accompany them throughout their existence. The purpose of the present work is to propose a model of preparation aimed at strengthening the mastery of health and prevention issues in the teachers of the Department of Physical Culture who work with the Degree in Education, for their training as active agents in the direction of training Of the graduates, and that contributes to the development of a culture in these subjects, using physical exercise as an effective means to promote healthy lifestyles and the more rational use of free time.
