The present work is focused in the study of the technoproductive variants used by two fishery communities of Cienfuegos: El Castillo-Perché and Reina, from two different marine settings and as alternatives facing the experienced environmental changes of the last decades, that have conditioned new attitudes and behaviours in the individuals facing the phenomenon. This situation is evidenced in the innovation and variety of means: instruments and fishing practices to the adaptation to the new socio-environmental reality. The processes are registered in a glossary of voices that includes explanations and analysis of each one of them.
