This article studies the need for a quality education of university students to a new curriculum for which teachers do not feel professionally prepared. The analysis is conceived from the converted “Integrated Cathedra” subject, as required by the curriculum, in the integrating axis of the rest of the subjects of the semester; the pre-professional practices and the integrating knowledge project. The results represent the advances of the university teaching group in the student training and the best teacher professionalization.
