Nowadays, so many agricultural resources represent not only part of the alimentary ingestion of people, but they contribute too, to the agricultural development and to the economy of countries and one of this resources is the rice but, with the great potential to develop this sector, it presents problems as poverty of inversion, modernization and commercialization, and do not improve the development in some countries as Ecuador. It was studied the incidence of the rice production in the socio-economic development of the agriculturalist in Cantón Samborondón, in where it was established a prospective-descriptive investigation with a qualimetric focus, and it was determine that a sample of 63 asociated agriculturalists, and they were evaluated with life quality indicators, interest and capacity to produce from the rice product.
