The management of knowledge every day receives a greater manifest significance in its link to the development of processes and the fulfillment of the objectives of the company. Members of organizations have knowledge, skills and experiences that need to be explicit, converted into information and recorded in documents. The objective of this research is to develop a tool that supports the knowledge identification process, in particular, that which is paid to the fulfillment of the strategic objectives. For this purpose, the adaptation of a management tool by objectives and management control, the OVAR Matrix, is proposed. Thus, the KOVAR Matrix is developed, capable of identifying the knowledge, necessary to execute the actions that pay to the fulfillment of the strategic objectives of the organization.
