Abstract

The harmonization of formative and affective influences reaches greater positive effect when it includes all places and every activity that takes place on all campuses in this respect. The current paper focuses its attention on those extracurricular educative activities that are developed outside the classroom. The problematic situation object of study, takes advantage of the extracurricular activities organized at the municipal campus of Cruces in order to enrich the students´ knowledge about local history as the main goal of the current research. The implementation of the proposal designed made possible an in-depth study of the students´ knowledge about the history of their hometown concerning historical dates, places and personalities from Cruces. It not only allowed an active research about the students´ historical knowledge but also to find out their sense of belonging towards relevant facts and people from their community.
