CASTILLO QUIMIS, Erika Lisbeth; MITE PEZO, Jenny América  y  PEREZ AREVALO, Juan José. Influence of the materials of the envelope in the thermal comfort of the houses. Mucho Lote II Program, Guayaquil. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2019, vol.11, n.4, pp.303-309.  Epub 02-Sep-2019. ISSN 2218-3620.

The article establishes parameters that determine thermal comfort for the consumption of electrical energy for environmental conditioning. The above was investigated by means of surveys and the average of the electricity consumption of the families that inhabit the sector. These guidelines influence the parameters to follow in order to establish viable proposal models in the sector; which consists of an architectural model that proposes the characteristics of orientation, fluidity of the winds and sunlight that are important features to produce greater energy savings in homes. From this, it is pointed out the importance of the envelope that achieves an optimum interior temperature with a filter effect, which provides protection, privacy, movement and amortization of external environmental agents creating comfortable interior spaces, achieving the design according to the weather conditions; using materials with favorable thermo physical characteristics for the geographical location and the humid warm climate that the city presents.
