The implementation of short, medium and long term strategies is undoubtedly the way companies have to gain competitive advantage in international business. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the impact that management strategies can have on the good progress of the business. The research is qualitative, documentary and descriptive, using as a tool a structured interview guide to experts in the area of business administration. The results indicate that the main elements for good administration are associated with strategies based on the experience of the administrator, compliance with quality standards and constant business innovation. It is expected that these results will serve as a basis for future research in the search to provide information that allows timely decisions to be taken by business administrators.
