The purpose of this article is to determine the increase in economic activity in the province of Santa Elena of Ecuador.The behavior of this province is evaluated. For its theoretical support, the theories of the essence of enterpreneurship, its contribution to the economy of the sector and its effect on tax collection as one more actor were used. For its methodological support, a descriptive research was carried out under the bibliographic support and a methodology of integral correlational research, applying linear regression. As conclusions, it was obtained that in this case: The increase of the economic activity in the province of Santa Elena, affected in a positive way, the increase of the National Tax Collection in the period 2010-2017.
