In terms of land use and management, 66.66% allocate to the planting of pasture as primary food for livestock, which causes an affection to the soil and water resource with moderate consequences, while damage caused by extensive livestock activity to the soil and the environment are serious consequences as erosion and soil degradation. It is concluded that the producers involved are interested in participating in contingency and mitigation plans to achieve sustainable agricultural soil management in the study area, which requires the immediate implementation of agricultural and social policies by the municipal GAD and the decentralized autonomous government of the province of El Oro.
