In the department of Cundinamarca, there has been an increase in musculoskeletal diseases present in the economic activity of transport. Taking into account that said series of processes represent a fundamental role in social development as work, this research adds significant ideas, which is intended to mitigate harmful effects on health caused by the high work hours to which a driver is exposed of intermunicipal bus. According to the ILO, for the bus or truck driver they have been identified as ergonomic factors associated with driving work such as lumbar discomfort and joint pain, rheumatic disorders, vision difficulties and eye problems caused by inadequate lighting; Therefore, this study aims to identify and promote ergonomic intervention strategies aimed at workers who work as intermunicipal bus drivers in the Sabana de Occidente, through the RULA and Nordic Questionnaire methodologies as a diagnostic means, in order to reduce occupational disease rate in this type of population.
