An analysis of the training of specialists at the university, as well as pedagogical practice, reveals the relevance of building the educational process in junior courses, which optimally takes into account the specifics of the professional development of the student as a specialist in the information society. One of the indicators of the optimality of the organization of such a process in the study of computer science is the success of teaching junior students. The article clarifies the scientific concept “The process of formation of the success of teaching junior students”, reveals the content of the components of this process, considers the structural model of the formation of the success of teaching junior students in the process of studying computer science.
