The objective of this research is to propose leasing as financing support for the acquisition of cargo transport vehicles at the Empresas de Paita. Supported in quantitative research techniques, descriptive-deductive methods are applied, where the variables of leasing and vehicle acquisition are not going to change, but will be taken as they are presented in the primary sources, the need of companies for to have as the main source of financing the lease. A questionnaire is also applied to land freight companies, taking as a sample the union of the entity. As a result, 72% have extensive knowledge, and 36% finance their transport units through leasing and loans. In this way, leasing is a good financial support for the acquisition of land cargo transport vehicles, since it positively affects their evolution and development.
