En el presente trabajo se analizaron los diversos aspectos relativos a la denuncia del Convenio de Washington o Convenio sobre Arreglo de Diferencias relativos a Inversiones entre Estados y Nacionales de otros Estados de 1965, del Centro Internacional de Arreglo de Diferencias Relativas a Inversiones (CIADI) por parte de Ecuador, Bolivia y Venezuela. Los hechos acaecidos; las posiciones de dichos Estados para tomar en consideración la denuncia del Convenio; las consecuencias de la denuncia y las posibles salidas que los actores involucrados pueden tomar dentro del marco de solución de controversias de los tratados internacionales de inversión y el estado actual del tema fueron objeto de estudio.

In the present paper diverse aspects related to the denunciation of the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), Washington, 1965, were analyzed, on the part of Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela. The events; the positions of those States regarding the denunciation of the Convention; the consequences of the complaint and possible outputs that the actors involved can take within the framework of settlement of disputes of international investment treaties and the current status of the subject were the matter of study.
