VECINO RONDAN, Uliser; PEREZ GARCIA, Waldo  y  HERRANDIZ, Adrián Cánova. University-collective production farm linkage: an experience from a local productive arrangement. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.1, pp. 227-234.  Epub 02-Feb-2021. ISSN 2218-3620.

This research aimed to develop a Local Productive Arrangement that contributes to the better performance of Captain Lawton collective production farm in Isla de la Juventud, Cuba. The methodology used is based on 1) Conceptual framework definition of Local Innovation Systems, 2) Celebration of meetings, called Brainstorming Workshops and 3) Design of a Productive Arrangement scheme and its partial implementation with local actuators. This research followed the quasi-experimental approached and was conducted during the period 2017-2018. The following methods and techniques were used for the collection of information: the argumentation consistency test using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, the nonparametric signed test, and the Wilcoxon test. The group of actuators that are articulated for the formation of the productive chain in the agricultural sector was identified, based on relational criteria. The results revealed that the implementation of the Local Productive Arrangement scheme favored the execution of innovations in the sector by articulating the different actuators involved and performance improvements in the agricultural sector, as evidenced by the encouraging productive indicators obtained.

Palabras clave : Actuators; articulation; productive performance.
