In the current moments the teaching of the sciences is object of a deep transformation, not alone in the contents, but also, in the form in that these they are taught, something that is not unaware to the mathematics teaching. It is about perfecting the teaching processes and learning for the sake of offering a mathematical formation of quality to all and all as basic element of the civic formation. The answer to the question how to teach mathematics to achieve this formation? Not it is only and it continues being a concern and occupation of all those that are devoted to the Mathematics teaching. In this work, without the spirit of giving recipes, the authors intend to analyze the validity and present time of the Decalogue of Didactics of the Spanish professor's Mathematics Puig Adam to give answer to the demands of UNESCO in connection with the Mathematics teaching in the XXI century.
