The constant growth of the population, the obligation to satisfy their needs, together with a disproportionate mentality of economic growth without foundations of sustainability, puts in a juxtaposed position, the problem of water and Climate Change, in the face of the aforementioned social economic growth, what which led to the objective of this research being considered, from the current state of the art, to analyze the elements that typify the water situation and the influences of Climate Change in its quality and availability, as a global and interactive process. The bibliographic review was used as a fundamental research method, using the global context as a scenario, due to the characteristics of its scope. As the main result, it was evidenced that the relationship between water, its quality and availability, vs Climate Change, increasingly increases the gap between the prospects of life on the planet and social equity, demanding new approaches in the scale and claim of social development, under coherent public policies and a model that privileges social life over group enjoyment.
