Abstract

The management of science and technological innovation is one of the processes that has gained greater interest for its application in the business environment, as it represents notable advantages in the achievement and coordination of tasks to achieve defined purposes and objectives. However, although its value for the competitive performance of the company is recognized, not all of them manage to face this process with the expected success, presenting difficulties in its management. In this work the intention is focused on explaining the common characteristics of the modes of action reported in the scientific work of researchers through the application of a strategy for the management of science and technological innovation supported by postgraduate activity, taking as context the chemical process industry. The importance of basic competencies and the application of technological knowledge, the value of developing a cooperative strategy of technological innovation, the evaluation and completion of technologies in universities through international collaboration and technological management integrated into complex analysis was conceptualized. of processes and their application for the development of the industry. It is concluded that the application of a technological strategy with a prospective vision, supported by postgraduate activity and with the introduction of the results of science in practice, constitutes a way to increase the competitive development of a company.
