Pedagogy as a science is mediated by the space-time of society, a condition that marks its evolution in response to the educational and social needs of each era, consequently, today there is a tendency to link it with life and family. This essay is part of a descriptive study with a qualitative approach with a marked hermeneutical orientation, systematized through the methods of content analysis, hermeneutics and documentary review. Among the main findings are the characteristics of Pedagogy for Life, including the student as the center of the teaching-learning process, love for the student, inclusive education, respect and acceptance of diversity and linked teaching with and for life. This pedagogy focuses on humanistic education that seeks to teach for life, aimed at the integral development of the human being to enhance personal capacities and reach their fullness.

Keywords : Pedagogy; education for life; family; comprehensive training.
