Resumen
GONZALEZ SUAREZ, Erenio et al. Mathematical methods in postgraduate knowledge management actions in Chemical Engineering. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.5, pp.259-267. Epub 02-Oct-2021. ISSN 2218-3620.
From the conception of the idea to its introduction and adaptation, several steps are required to the conditions of the real productive world, which implies obtaining information on chemical, physical and design variables required for industrial design. This implies expenses of material resources, financial equipment and time, this is the most important, since time is the most precious of those who only have their talent as their fortune. The objective of this work is to explain the common characteristics of the methods reported in the scientific endeavor and in particular the authors' own experience in more than 40 years in connection with the solution of problems in the industry. In the application of mathematical methods in the strategy of analysis and engineering of chemical processes, a great demand for information is required for the assimilation and development of new technologies that can only be processed thanks to mathematical research methods. Training in the practical and systematic use of mathematical tools is a distinctive feature of the time in the undergraduate and postgraduate training of the Chemical Engineer.
