In the concrete conditions of the environment and the knowledge that we must all assume about it, learning and community acquire special meaning. From this perspective, we present an experience of the Faculty of Education, where the effectiveness of educational intervention in the community and its transformation into a participatory learning space is evidenced, by promoting and analyzing different community readings on the environment. It has been shown that facilitating access to information on this subject is essential to obtain the support of all to the environmental problem and strengthen our commitment to this. Its objective is to enhance this knowledge in a climate of educational exchange, frank communication and interaction with their social environment, promoting solving common problems, while acquiring a general culture that serves as a basis for present and future generations.
