Globalization has produced a crisis in the Nation-State, disappearing the internal-international dualism, on the other hand, human rights demand protection by the States. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of globalization on the protection of human rights in Ecuador. The methodology is qualitative, using the hermeneutic method that allowed the analysis of the documents and the experts' answers. It was concluded that globalization has had a positive impact on the development of the human rights protection system in Ecuador, as it is included in the international systems that tend to make this protection effective, and that continuously supervise the States in the fulfillment of the agreements reached on human rights.
