Resumen

MILLAN, Ana Belkys Hernández; VILCHES, Diosky Ferrer  y  ROQUE, Lian Roque. Training of practical skills in left-handed students of stomatology from a CTS approach. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.1, pp. 19-29.  Epub 10-Feb-2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

In the Stomatology career, aspects such as cerebral dominance and laterality have not been taken into account, which means that both right-handed and left-handed enter the race and the latter must abruptly change their laterality when they must begin to develop their practical skills. Arguing the formation of practical skills in left-handed students of Stomatology from a CTS approach due to the change in laterality is the fundamental objective of this work. Biological aspects are exposed to understand laterality, left-handers in the course of history as a minority group and the difficulties they face due to their condition because it is a world in which right-handers predominate and almost everything is designed for them in addition to the plan study and ergonomics to reach conclusions.

Palabras clave : CTS approach; brain dominance; laterality; practical skills in stomatology.
