The methodological work in the year group constitutes the strategic process of planning, organizing, directing and controlling the educational teaching process to achieve continuous improvement and the satisfaction of the interested parties. In the groups of academic years, the main teachers of the year (highest authority) have the need to manage them through the process approach to take advantage of this with respect to the current functional approach that is presented in Higher Education. The research aims to analyze the methodological work in groups of academic years with a process approach. For this, a conceptual analysis of the methodological work is carried out and it is designed through the process map, the deployment and the flow diagram. Empirical methods such as observation, interviews and surveys were also used. During the development of the research, different softwares were used, among which are: Statistic Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) for the processing of surveys, UCINET in the analysis of social networks and MindManager X5 in the elaboration of concept maps.
