Taking into account the efficient management of water as a topical issue given the high consumption of the resource, the lack of organization and conservation of the same makes the rates of scarcity rise in periods of drought, the growing ones in rainy seasons are strong and the power erosion of the water increases, it is vitally important to improve the management of the resource. This project seeks to generate a rainfall prediction model from the statistical analysis of historical data of rainfall that occurred in the municipality of Zipaquirá at the Páramo de Guerrero station In order to establish a mathematical model that allows generating an expression with an adequate data adjustment and through this process forecast the probable results of precipitation into the future with a certain degree of precision. These measurements can be made in existing projects or sites and could even be compared against the rain data reported by the instruments designed for this purpose in the study area with the aim of evaluating the accuracy of the model.
