This publication is the product of an investigation that was carried out with the purpose of applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS), specifically the ArcGIS Pro Georeferencing system to the first hundred SMEs of the Metropolitan District of Quito through the generation of spatial information analysis, as well as the business information provided by the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance and the Business Ranking of Ecuador for the year 2020. With an exploratory and descriptive approach, characteristic aspects of the companies were generated through the ArcGIS Pro Georeferencing system before said, reaching the conclusion that said system is a very important tool for companies in characterization processes.
