The topics of discussion about the quality of higher education are recurrent today in the wake of the explosive increase in the area, which has diversified in terms of students and institutions in the last 30 years. With the expansion of higher education, the reduction of public spending and the private contribution to the activity, together with globalization, have made us rethink the mode of production of education, and if it is the most appropriate for the current times. Undoubtedly, each university dedicates resources for each of its substantive processes: teaching, research and extension through the provision of services to external parties. Such resources are usually scarce and, therefore, the organization is forced to diversify its income. The policy of university diversification is determined by its heterogeneity and according to sociales roles, it is usually distinguished between professional staff (sometimes called academic), administrative and support staff and a variable population of students of very different types and conditions, according to age, aspirations, institutional commitment, time regime and social situation in its composition and in its social goals.
