Resumen

TEJADA YEPEZ, Silvia Liliana; LOPEZDOMINGUEZ RIVAS, Leili Genoveva  y  ZUMBA GAMBOA, Johanna Patricia. Diagnosis of the projects executed as part of the substantive function of linkage of the University of Guayaquil. A student perspective. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.5, pp.478-488.  Epub 30-Oct-2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

The development of associations between universities is today a key issue in the management of higher education institutions. In this context, the impact of the university on its surroundings, through student projects and pre-professional internships, should be targeted at both the students’ comprehensive training and the social development of the community. The objective of this article is to communicate the perception of the students about the institutional relevance of the processes of execution of the projects of linkage with the society of the University of Guayaquil. For this purpose, instruments were designed and applied to collect information from a stratified random sampling, whose information was processed using descriptive and correlational statistical methods. Among the main results of the study, the following stand out: non-conformities related to the planning and organization of outreach projects, differentiated attention to students with disabilities and the dissemination of scientific results. As relevant positive aspects, the students' positive perception of their social contribution to the community and to their professional training, as well as their personal satisfaction with direct collaboration in vulnerable communities, stand out.
