The use of poverty as a means of subsistence and enrichment of third parties constitutes a social phenomenon aggravated by migratory movements, within which child begging, due to its magnitude, has become one of the main problems of contemporary society. Accordingly, the purpose of the work was to evaluate through a doctrinal, legal and field study, the incidence of forced mobility as a generator of child begging in the city of Santo Domingo, for which, from a mixed approach, theoretical methods such as analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and empirical methods such as documentary analysis were used, which allowed the study of the proposed objective. It was found that, despite the work carried out from the legislative and public actions, child begging subsists with a risk of increase, also associated to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is concluded that human mobility, whether forced or voluntary, is one of the factors of greatest incidence in the proliferation of child and adolescent begging in the city of Santo Domingo.
